Long Weekend in Atlanta

Finally I get some precious time to blog again after a super hectic 1st week in sch in the US. I must say I am over-whelmed. The ppl here are really at the fore-front of technology in terms of computers and I must admit that we in NTU are some way behind in terms of programming, hardware etc. Interacting with project mates in a particular module makes me feel like my level of knowledge is only of a kindergarten kid.

Though it is stressful to work with these world class programmers....it is indeed my honour too. Well who said exchange was a breeze and a great chance for a break!!...it is definitely not...so to all those planning for exchange haha...beware!!....lolz...But trust me..it is really the experience of the lifetime...U need to see if for urself....okie..i am like the advertiser for exchange program liao..haha...

Enough of the stressful academic stuff. haha it is long weekend in Atlanta because of a public holiday in Atlanta. I dunnoe the story of the holiday but it is related to King Mater Luter? hmm sorry for the spelling error...Overall it was an eventful weekend, with visits to the High Museum to see Van Gogh and Picasso paintings..and they r real...not fakes...!! Luckily I took a GE on Arts last sem, made me appreciate and understand the paintings better..really lucky to be able to catch the exhibition as how many times in life do u get to see a real Van Gogh with guided explanation via a digital audio system...

haha also managed to squeeze out time to go to BuckHead to "chiong"....haha luckily my parents dun read my blog..lolz...erm..for those of u who noe my parents...dun sae hor...this is really an eye-opener. Their chiong style is diff fr spore haha with music more focus on Hip-Hop which I dunnoe how to dance to...and I dun really dance..lolz....cos i suck at it...but the atmosphere was there...and did manage to catch a glimpse of Bikini gals and platform dancing..it was really freezing cold outside the bars and pubs though but it was definitely a fruitful trip.

Just went to Chinatown today...and had a wonderful Chinese meal...dunnoe was becos too hungry or the food was good...but I dun care....just glad that I had some proper Chinese food which is a scarce commodity here in Atlanta or US. And this just reminds me of food in Spore, sighs... everione in GIP is missing the food in Spore though we are barely 2 weeks old in Georgia Tech. Where is my sambal stingray, satay, ba chor mee, chicken rice, char kway teow etc..the list just goes on....guess can only dream of them at e moment ba...All my supper ka keys stand by..once I get back..I am going to activate all of you right away....hee

ok time to study liao...my 10 min of blogging is up...tmr still gtg out to buy NBA tix..super excited abt the match betw Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat...finally can see Shaq in real person. Reaching another milestone in my life...Van Gogh, NBA, Shaq, etc......guess these r things you will only have chances to see once in a lifetime..that is if u r lucky...and I thank whoever is up there who have made this possible for me....and finally HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my DAD!!! haha though cant celebrate with u this year...but will make it up when i get back k....already got a gift for u liao..haha....

take care everibody in Spore and have a great week ahead!!
