Missing Spore...

Haha ok..some of you reading this may think that : huh? slightly 3 weeks in Atlanta and Km is home-sick?? haha erm...ok ya... I have to admit that I am...!!...Not only missing Spore food which is basically like my life? and most imptly my parents, relatives and frenz... Trust me, when you are in a foreign land attending lessons on ur own, you will definitely feel lost and homesick no matter how "zai" or "steady" you are...true you may make new frenz and experience new cultures but they are incomparable to the Singapore culture that is so deeply-rooted in me.

Those who have been chatting with me on msn shld noe that I have been dreaming of Spore food. Not only in my sleeping dreams but as well as day-dreaming in class.hahah...3 weeks of pasta, pizza, sandwish and of course my unbeatable instant noodles is really ultra boring. I am already an expert at cooking instant noodles. An attempt to cook some nutrition soup last weekend made me appreciate my parents more...haha...but my culinery skills have improved exponentially due to the fact that I have to cook everyday.

Finally it is Friday, of course it is Hari Raya in Spore and everyone is out doing CNY shopping/enjoying the long weekend while I slog it out with the Americans in sch..haha.. finally some progress in my work. Handed in my first assignment today which I am confident that there are mistakes but at least I am getting more "ah" with my project mates which is definitely a good thing considering I am the only one from my course.

Luckily last Monday was a public holiday in US and managed to get some time for sight-seeing haha..making ppl like my sis envious again.hee...went to the Olympics park where they held the 1996 Olympics and also took a look at CNN centre where they broadcast. Most important of all we bought NBA TICKETS!! haha though not the biggest match that you will see in the NBA but you noe wat...I dun care!! it is NBA..haha my dream come true...ok i noe that I am repeating this but this was wat i have always been dreaming of ever since I started watching NBA in Spore via SCV...bleh....and guess what the tix are onli US$10 for students implying-> I will go for more..haha

My next few weekends are already packed with events like Stomp, Paintball, NBA, Battle of the Bands...wondering how am I going to fit my workload in ...arghhh...programming sux big time... guess somehow I will juz bash thru as I always do...or do I? haha.. To RSPHI, I am already making up to u all by canvassing for u all across the pacific ocean by asking the whole of GIP to buy Bwa Gua haha....Noe that this is a small effort but hope that it will be of some help and it is all for the hearing impaired community...Thanks to all who bought from me...really appreciate it.

Ok time for lessons again....sigh...enjoy ur long weekend everione in Spore..Happy Hari Raya.. and thanks to the person who sent me pics of fishball noodles and char kway teow..arghhh.. u really made me drool at the pics!! hungry again....this cold weather really makes ppl hungry...
