每逢佳节倍思亲

Today marks e end of week 10 of IA...had my assessment and it went quite ok..hope can get a good grade for my IA...today was exceptionally stressful as i had to go to an auction house and check some of the stuff for my parents...had to hand really delicate and expensive stuff under so many watchful eyes...and comment on it...haha glad i din break anything..

After that went for a business dinner again...6 ppl 11 dishes...eat til i was really bloated..and once again had to drink along with them...feel like vomitting after that...tink i shall be a vegetarian for tmr and clear my stomach..which i am sure is working OT tonite to digest the stuff..but dining with these ppl is really quite enriching..really made me noe china better...guess when ppl get old they will kan kai also...they kept talking abt life is short and dun keep trying to gain fame and earn money thruout ur life and entangle urself in the struggle for power...why not live life more simply and happily...ya I tink they r rite...normally by the time ppl kan kai, they r already v old le..haha so maybe we shld kan kai more when we r young...easier said than done...

Also celebrated mid-autumn festival with them...they have such high regards for this festival and everyone is saying that during this time..everyone should be reunited with their family... hmm well guess i dun have this luxury this year...din even had the chance to spend CNY in SG this year..suddenly miss home again when they r talking abt maf...

i guess this muz be the feeling of 每逢佳节倍思亲...the result of being away from home for so long....
