Last Leg of my Journey

After travelling for 2 weeks plus, it is time for my last leg of my journey...Washington DC then NYC and it is back home....

Travelling all over USA these 2 weeks has really been an eye-opener....experiencing the different cities and cultures of different states as well as being able to see different wonders of the world. It certainly made me realise how much things there are still to see in this world.

All things have to end and this journey will end next week....bringing much memories with me back home....

I wonder what will be the feeling of going home after such a long time abroad. With only a month before I embark on another journey in China, I certainly will cherish the 1 mth in Spore.

Singapore, see you in 7 days time....

It is official!! GIP once more!

Just got my results from Georgia Tech...and it made me believe miracles do happen. I passed all my subjects!! Thanks to all for all your encouragement when I was slogging thru all the hard work @ Georgia Tech. Without all your support I would not have been able to pull thru.

Now that my results are out, it is confirmed that I am leaving for GIP once again. Yes I did not type wrongly, I am going overseas for another 6 mths. I have only abt 30 days in Singapore once I touch down in Singapore on 2nd June and will be flying off start of July again. So much has been hanging in the air for the past few mths. Glad that everything is clear now.

This will make 2005 a year that will be spent overseas. The 2nd half of the year will be spent in Beijing, China. Guess I won't have to keep my luggages when I get back from New York. Must really plan how to spend this 30 days which I believe will be spent on preparation for China trip and catching up with family and friends.

Really a funny feeling to know that you are flying off again a while after going home. Have to go through the motion of parting with my family and friends once more. Everything comes with a price I guess. This trip will make me the first person in NTU to complete the GIP Triangle. I think I will really feel lost by the time I get back to NTU. I think even my house will feel foreign haha.

Currently @ a hotel @ Los Angeles...hope you ppl will enjoy the photos of Grand Canyon. It is really breath-taking there and each photos took lots of effort to get to the respective poses... some are really risky shots, standing @ the edges of the canyon. My legs were really numb after taking the photos..haha....

Time to watch NBA playoffs.....time to sign off....byeee

Last nite @ Georgia Tech

Exams are over!!! What a week... 5 papers in 5 days...totally exhausted my brain...can't imagine how many brain cells are killed over the week...

Well time to throw all the books aside and embark on my summer trip... Just spent the last night in Atlanta packing my stuff and doing some last minute grocery shopping. Took one last look at the College of Computing where i spent countless sleepless nites and the memories all came back...

Glad to leave the crazy workload here but then sad to leave a place I have started to get used to.. need to admit it is a beautiful campus with facilities...Nothing lasts forever, have to go home sooner or later...I will always remember the happy and sad times spent @ Georgia Tech...

It has been a totally life changing experience..my perception of everything changed, my character changed and I realised how big the world is out there after being stuck on a small red dot on the map for 22 years of my life. Though I am going to fail a few subjects but guess that's life, cant have the best in everything. Things I have learnt here cannot be measured by grades, neither can they be learnt from reading txtbks or lect notes.

Other than the experience, I have made a great bunch of frenz here...my dinner buddies especially. Chu wai kao peng you. This sentence is really true. Thank you frenz for cooking dinner and delivering it to my sch for me when I am working overtime. Thank you for giving me medicine when I am sick, Thank you for cooking for me when I am busy, Thank you for sending stuff back to Singapore for me when I do not time, Thank you for all the encouragement when I feel down. It has been my pleasure to meet all of you and no amt of thank yous can express my gratitude.

Freedom has rung across the Stone Mountains of Atlanta and reach the doorsteps of Hemphill Apartments... Let us enjoy the next 3 weeks of holidays and have the time of our lives....

For ppl in Spore, thanks for all the help that i asked you all to provide during these few weeks and see you soon on 2nd June when it will be home sweet home for me....

Farewell to all 26 of my GIP mates in Atlanta....it has been a great journey with you guys and girls.....
