相逢不如偶遇

Today juz planned to go cant a and grab a bun for lunch..which seems like the routine nowadays..but to my delight..saw Weili! haha so happy to see him cos so long nv see him already..he was my good fren, floor mate and team mate for chinese chess in hall 3 since yr 1..a pity i dun stay at hall 3 now..else can meet up more often...

turns out that he is also eating lunch alone...so we decided to eat tog..haha it has been quite sometime since i had a kaki to eat lunch...cos most of my frenz are at IA..haha mr lu baojian come back quick and sit beside me in the LT pls..haha its pretty bored to attend lessons alone..sorry for throwing u all alone when i went for exchange...

anyway..back to weili...seems like he has grown alot..haha not in terms of size but I found that he has matured..and we updated each other..so much that i forgot wat we updated liao..but the most striking point is that we both agreed that we would both give in to our respective partners and that we would make sacrifices to make them happy...haha he even shared his latest news..but cannot reveal here.else he kill me..but i noe his gf will be a xing fu girl...

Back to school

Term break is over in a flash and the hectic work is starting to pile up again..quite a simple past week with some projects in school, studying and spending time with xiling and my parents..Came back to hall yest to find my face mirror being smashed on the floor...had to clear all the glass and wear sandals while bathing..hope they come clear it up soon...luckily neither me nor my roomie was present in the bathroom when the mirror fell off...tink my toilet is spoiling..previously the lights were out..now it is the mirror's turn..

Had my laptop serviced during the term break too and muz really praise HP..they replaced my mother board, keyboard, scroll pad and battery.. all for free! haha..tink muz be cos i complained too much so they replaced everything for me...in the end the receipt showed that the parts costs more than 1000 dollars..luckily everything was under warranty...

hope these few weeks pass faster..den the bulk of my projects would have come to a close but tinking abt it..better dun pass so fast..cos exams are will be here by then..it's juz the start of term break but it is juz 6 weeks to the start of my first paper..haha din mean to stress all of u by putting that as my msn nick..but well i am quite stunned myself..that's super fast..considering it is juz half the sem gone...1 week of studying for each module and that's it..hmm luckily my papers are quite spread out this semester...

had some wonderful and sad times these 2 weeks...also dun noe how to blog abt what happened...but guess i shall remember more of the wonderful times...life is short anywae..no point keep tinking abt e bad times...y not juz keep the good times..and have a happy life...pretty angry with myself yesterday..cos I already told myself not to behave like dat but in the end i didn't...haha guess i am human afterall...and not like a computer software that executes the way you program it to...Just haven been in the best of moods lately..so the ppl ard me esp my gf has to bear with it..sorry to all of you...

and hope you ppl liked the food reviews..there will be more coming up when i am more free to up load the photos etc...

A new purpose in my blog!

The new purpose is posting food reviews!! haha this is to benefit gluttons out there juz like me..haha I am goin to be called a pig again when she sees this...I have adopted the habit of taking pictures of food when I dine out lately and to benefit those reading my blog, I shall post the pics along wif my comments on them...if you guys and girls trust my taste bud, you can try these places..haha shall start with the places I have visited in 2006...

If the pics does not come along wif the review..haha it is cos I haven wrote them..you can check them again when u return to my blog next time...haha feel free to drop comments on my tag board on these places too..Guess it muz be boring to read abt all my complains at times..so shall reward my readers with good food..haha remember to read the disclaimer below b4 reading the reviews hor...

went to impresario this weekend.haha quite a nice concert overall with funny videos, nice songs with v meaningful lyrics as well as guest performances by kelly and junyang..but my poor xiling was disappointed cos she waited so long for jun yang but in the end he only sang a duet wif kelly..anyway..special thanks to guoxing for helping me get the $13 tix...owe u one..

Comments: You can smell the fragrance of the walnut once it is served. The vanilla ice cream complements the brownie very well..Another sinful dessert haha...Very delicious too especially when the brownie is served warm...I would have given a better rating if I had not tasted the dan ryan brownie..haha

Fish and chips from Barnsburry Restaurant at Bugis Junction...Price: Average (abt swensens price) Quality: 7/10 Comments: The chips is not the real chips as mentioned in the menu..so abit disappointing...but at least the fish is fresh and quite crispy..The green apple salad that comes with it is pretty unique cos you seldom see green apple salad that comes with fish and chips..overall average..but restaurant not too crowded..so nice place to chilll out..

Dan Ryan BBQ chicken and ribs
Price: Expensive(but servings big enough to serve 2)
Quality:8.5/10
Comments: The bbq sauce that comes with it is home made..v good..American size serving..so 2person can share 1..the fries is v good too..

Comments: Super yummy and excellent..If you are a chocolate and ice cream lover..you will feel that you are in heaven...Must try if you dun wan to miss out the heavenly feeling..haha..

Dunnoe

Had a nice vday celebration on tuesday...and my lab assessment went on quite alright on wed..although with a big hiccup at first...made it super exciting though..and it sure gave a good exercise on my brain by stressing it out..initially quite happy after doin pretty well for the lab..but after that it has been pretty much downhill for the week..filled wif so many dunnoes...

1. dunnoe wat is wrong wif my tv..cannot output pc suddenly
2. dunnoe wat my proj grp members are thinking..y cant they juz be more on now and slack later...
3. dunnoe how to do my lab
4. dunnoe some stuff
5. dunnoe anything

perhaps i have some answers myself..but i dunnoe whether they r right or wrong...haha dunnoe again..dun really like the feeling when everything and every1 ard me is giving me dunnoes..perhaps this is a taste of my own medicine...sometimes i am guilty of telling my parents or my frenz i dunnoe this dunnoe that...now i know the feeling is not nice..muz say sorry to them...esp when u wan to know the thing and yet u juz cant noe the thing..its abit off

now juz sitting in the lib stoning waiting for lab...dunnoe how to blog this post already...cos my mind is juz filled with dunnoes now...maybe i do know somethings..i like my vday present...

Been bz goin for free access lab these 2 weeks...argh my circuit board still cant work! and the assessment is this coming wed...hope can work by then...crosses my fingers...haha I got a new tv in hall! hee 20 inch LCD tv which can double up as a LCD monitor..so big..haha finally more entertainment in hall..hope i dun get distracted by it..lolz..but it's really nice to watch movies on the big tv..cool!

Watched i not stupid 2 and huo yuan jia these few days and these are 2 shld watch movies this festive season...I not stupid 2 is v touching with a touch of local flavour...hee if u wan to know what a lame chop is...watch the movie...huo yuan jia is also not bad but the violence is abit gross..haha dun eat too much if u are goin to watch it...

Got a big big big big scare at JP on thur...shall not describe wat happened..but it was singtel's fault..cant get a phone call thru when I needed it most...luckily everything ended ok..haha and I also realised how important some1 is to me..

Tonite I did a stun at Sembawang mac..haha I went into the mac drive-thru via its exit..den after I realised my mistake..haha i did a 3 point turn and reversed all the way to the ordering section of the drive thru..this stun is called "reverse drive thru"....dun try it at home hor...shu shu got train b4 de...hee

these few days did lots of driving to places which i nv drive b4...haha...ended up hollanded many times..but learnt abt many places in the process...luckily I got company beside me to entertain me.. else driving alone is so boring...

V day coming le..haha hope everyone will enjoy Vday whether attached or single...tink this year V day goin to be low budget..haha no $$ le...hee hope xiling understands...most prob goin to hawker centre for dinner...den no more program le..wooo sounds like such a boring v day hor...and flowers are so ex during this season...so shld not buy them also...hahahahaa

time to orh orh liao...my neck and back hurts due to some reason 2nite...hee..hope it gets better tmr...

Haha just logged into my blog and the last post wa 19th Jan..haha so long nv blog already..guess muz be all the labs and CNY preparation/celebrations that is taking up all my time...Anyway, welcome to the year of the dog! Wang wang! hope my year will be a prosperous and happy one for all of u all...

CNY is simply another season of excessive eating..the eating started with my first reunion dinner on the eve of New Year's eve..haha..Jap buffet at Kuishin Bo..the food was great with highlights being chawamushi, paper steamboat, teppanyaki, snow crabs, candy floss, DIY coke float and so much more! Highly recommended..The consequences...a huge tummy..haha

The eating continued with the actual reunion dinner...haha other than eating..of course CNY is abt ang pows! hee..this year is a pretty good year in terms of ang pow..but the actual amt collected shall be confidential..The next few days of CNY was spent mainly visiting relatives etc...Went to river Ang Pow on the first day and just nice caught the fireworks..it is not bad considering they were goin to release it throughout the new year period..

haha i got a new blue pillow and it is really super nice to hug..another new addition to my hall stuff...super looking forward to this sat where I plan to get my 21 inch LCD tv..haha guess there will be more distractions in hall from now on...

Work has been suffocating these few days esp trying to get back to working mode from the new year mood...206 lab has been really frustrating cos I cant get my circuit board up despite checking so much on my connections..haiz..this means that I got to go back for free access...and this just 1 out of the 4 labs I have this semester..goin crazy just tinking abt the 4 labs..

need to take a break this weekend...and one of the new year resolution will be to keep fit..the excessive eating has really been making me really nua...
